DETAILED ITINERARY
09:00 AM – Departure from Huaraz
Pick up from your hotel or our agency and drive south toward the Huayhuash region. Enjoy scenic views of the Andes along the way.
11:30 AM – Arrival at trailhead & start of trek
Begin hiking at approximately 4,100 meters (13,450 ft). The trail gradually ascends through highland terrain toward the Rocoyutoc viewpoint.
02:00 PM – Reach Rocoyutoc viewpoint (approx. 4,800 m)
Enjoy panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, alpine valleys, and the Rocoyutoc glacier. Take time for photos, snacks, and rest.
04:00 PM – Return to Huaraz
Descend back to the trailhead and begin the drive back to Huaraz. Estimated arrival by 6:30 PM.
